Anti-Spam Policy
This Anti-Spam Policy applies to all viggotech Services that facilitate the transmission of bulk or commercial emails (“Covered Services”).
By using any Covered Service, you agree to comply fully with this Anti-Spam Policy. Covered Services may only be used to send emails or messages to recipients who have given explicit, verifiable permission to receive communications on the topics you’re contacting them about. This includes opt-in email marketing and other forms of permission-based outreach.
We enforce this policy seriously. If we determine that you’ve used Covered Services to send emails without valid permission, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without prior notice.
Definition of “Permission”
“Permission” refers to express, clear, and verifiable consent provided by the recipient. Acceptable forms of permission include:
- Submission of an email address during the purchase of a product/service or download from your website.
- Newsletter subscription via form submission on your website.
- Voluntary participation in a survey, contest, or event where recipients are explicitly told they’ll receive marketing emails.
- Checking an opt-in box (unchecked by default) in a form where the nature of future emails is made clear.
- Providing a business card and expressing willingness to receive commercial messages, including cards dropped in your booth at an event.
The rule is simple: Do not use Covered Services to send messages to anyone you do not have verified, explicit permission to email on the subject matter.
Recipients marking emails as spam—even after prior consent—are considered to have revoked that permission.
Non-Negotiable Compliance Requirements
To clarify the above, you must adhere to all the following rules:
- Maintain proof of consent for every email contact imported or used within Covered Services.
- Do not use purchased, borrowed, rented, or scraped email lists—regardless of any claims made by vendors.
- Do not import addresses harvested from websites or public directories.
- Ensure your email routing headers (From/To, domain names, sender addresses) are truthful and accurate.
- Use honest subject lines that reflect the actual content of the message.
- Include a clear, functional, one-click unsubscribe link in every message.
- Honor all unsubscribe requests within 10 days.
- Include your valid physical business address in all communications.
- Include a clear notice in every marketing message stating it is an advertisement or solicitation and that the recipient can opt out of future messages.
We may require you at any time to provide proof of consent for email addresses imported into Covered Services—even if those contacts haven’t been messaged yet.
Your continued use of viggoTech Services confirms your unconditional acceptance of this Anti-Spam Policy.
